Verisign Selling MoreOver and WebLogs

 In 2005, Verisign made two key acquisitions by buying MoreOver.com and Weblogs. When it was announced that Weblogs.com has been sold to Verisign for $2.3 million, a lot of people simply chuckled and thought that they (Verisign) paid way too much for a website which lacks basic infrastructure and proper design implementation. Fast Forward and now its 2008. Verisign has placed a price tag of $25million for MoreOver.com and the sale price for Weblogs.com has been kept confidential.

Currently they are out in the market and looking for a potential buyer. Yearly revenue for MoreOver.com as of 2008 is around $8million. So if you are an angel investor, a potential buyer with lots of $, this may be a good venture to invest in.
