Michael Arrington founder of Techcrunch blog kick started the techcrunch50, which is an exhibition of all new startups in the world of internet. Among many new faces, Ashton Kutcher, took everyone by surprise with his own blog BlahGirls.com . With the soaring popularity of starting blogs, I predict plenty of Blog trade i.e buying and selling blogs in near future as a way to jump start a business.

      I’m not sure if buying or selling a blog will be worth it in the long run. Typically keeping a popular blog popular is due to the owner of the blog. The owner typically has his or her own sense of humor, contacts with the industry he or she is blogging on, etc. I guess there are some that could be sold for profit, but I think as a buyer you should be very careful that you’re capable of keeping the blog going.
